From Jeffers Collision Center to C&C Auto
Our shop first opened its doors in 2000 as Jeffers Collision Center, offering both collision repair and mechanical auto repair to the House Springs community. Chris Nail joined the team in February 2009 as a technician and was promoted to shop manager in 2010, learning every corner of the business from the ground up.
On November 1, 2014, Chris and Chad Nicholas bought the company outright and renamed it C & C Auto and Collision. For a decade, the shop continued doing both collision and mechanical work. In 2024, we made the decision to step away from body work and focus entirely on what we do best: mechanical repair. Today, we operate simply as C&C Auto.
How We Got Here
We’ve grown by sticking to a few simple principles: pay close attention to the details, deliver the highest level of customer service we can, and fix the car right the first time. We also believe an informed customer is a happier customer, so we take the time to walk you through the repairs your vehicle needs and why, and help you understand the maintenance that will keep it running problem-free for years to come.
Meet Chris Nail
Chris started working on cars at a young age, long before he ever set foot in a shop professionally. He never went through formal schooling for it. Everything he knows came from hands-on experience, turning wrenches and learning by doing. That real-world foundation is still at the core of how the shop operates today.
Meet Chad Nicholas
Before joining Chris in this venture, Chad spent 20 years as a firefighter and paramedic, a career built on showing up for people when it matters most. In 2013, Chad and Chris began working together repairing and selling used cars, a partnership that would eventually grow into the shop customers know today.
Our Team
Behind every repair is a top-notch group of technicians who genuinely care about the people they’re helping. Our office staff makes sure our technicians’ findings and recommendations are relayed to customers in a way that’s easy to understand, with no jargon and no guesswork. Above all, the safety of our customers and their families on the road is our top priority.
Life Outside the Shop
When they’re not at the shop, both Chris and Chad enjoy traveling and spending time with their ever-growing families, the same families and community that inspired the way they built this business in the first place.
